Pues bien, despues de un rato de auscencia, aqui les traigo a esta banda, ellos son originarios de México, aunque actualmente residen en Los Angeles, California. Su proyecto es un tipo de metal gótico, con algunos sonidos apegados al folk. Sus tematicas se centran en leyendas, valores ancestrales, anecdotas personales y algunos temas sociales. Poseen hasta ahora solo 2 albumes, producidos por su propio sello discografico, Saturno Records. En este, su segundo album, exploran una gran variedad de sonidos de la escena gótica, un poco de rock, metal, e incluso en algunas canciones pueden encontrarse influencias del electro y el industrial... Por supuesto como es debido, El llamado del jaguar incluye canciones con tintes de folk ancestral mexicano y de medio oriente. Ok, after a little time of absence, here I bring this band, they are from Mexico, but actually they are living in Los Angeles, California. Their project is a kind of Gothic Metal, with folk influences. Their lyrical themes are focused on legends, ancestral values, personal anecdotes and social thematic. Coatl have so far two full-lenghts and several compilations, produced by their own label, Saturn Records. This is Coatl's second full-lenght, here explores a diversity of musical genres: rock, metal, and even some songs where can be found influences of Electrodark and Industrial... Of course as expected, El llamado del Jaguar (Jaguar's Call) include tracks inspired on ancestral folk from Mexico and Middle East.
